General Terms and Conditions for Cruise with SLOEP071
Chapter 1 – Definitions
Article 1 In these conditions the following definitions apply: a. Lessor: SLOEP071, the company that organizes boat tours and group cruises. b. Tenant/guest: A natural person who, not acting in the exercise of a profession or business (consumer), purchases services from the landlord for payment.
Chapter 2 – Liability
Article 2 SLOEP071 is not liable for personal injury or damage of any kind that occurs prior to, during or as a result of the voyage, unless there is demonstrable intent or gross negligence on the part of SLOEP071. The maximum compensation is limited to the amount of the boat rental for the relevant trip. Children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their parents and/or guardians. Free life jackets can be provided for small children upon request.
Chapter 3 – Cancellation
Article 3 a. Our cancellation conditions are simple: if there is a weather forecast of wind force 5 or persistent rain more than 12 hours before the start of the cruise, the cruise can be canceled free of charge. There is a 24-hour period for canceling catering. Complaints about the rental or booking agreement and its implementation must be reported in writing and clearly to the landlord within a reasonable period of 4 weeks.
Chapter 4 – Payment
Article 4 a. For boat trips you can pay on the day of the trip with PIN, or pay in cash to the skipper. Payment on invoice is possible after consultation with and confirmation by SLOEP071 via e-mail.
Chapter 5 – Safety and Environment
Article 5 The skipper on board SLOEP071 is at all times in charge and decides on the course of events. During the voyage, the skipper may decide to interrupt the voyage and/or change the route if, in his/her opinion, there are unsafe situations or if these general terms and conditions are not met. Safety always comes first!
Article 6 In the event of misconduct, including alcohol or drug use, the skipper has the right to interrupt or immediately end the sailing. Urinating in public is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate stoppage of the boat. In these cases, the customer’s payment obligation remains in force and no refund will be made.
Article 7 Smoking is not permitted on board our cruises.
Article 8 Loud music on board is not permitted, in accordance with the rules of the Municipality of Leiden.
Chapter 6 – Catering and Allergies
Article 9 SLOEP071 can take dietary requirements and allergies into account after consultation and confirmation by e-mail. Although we take various measures to minimize risks, we cannot guarantee that your meal is completely free of gluten, lactose, nuts or other allergens. If you have severe food allergies, we recommend taking your allergy medication with you.
Chapter 7 – Agreements and Other
Article 10 a. Make sure you are present at the agreed location 5 minutes before the agreed time. In consultation, if possible, the cruise can be extended for an additional payment to be paid directly by card or cash.
Article 11 Dogs are not allowed on our cruises unless they are guide dogs.
Article 12 In the event of disputes about these terms and conditions, the Dutch version is binding if it has also been made available in another language.
